Reinhold Traxl is a sculptor and painter. His works in tempera on wood or linen, unframed and at times expanded to large and impressive formats, follow the same principle as his sculptural works: concentration.
Traxl never abstracts in the sense of abandoning the figure or exploring a non-objective, humanless world, but rather reduces the figurative world to its essence.
